How to play Fortifall

Everything a new commander needs in five minutes: building, aiming, stars and coins.

01Build a fortress that survives

Every battle starts with building. You have 45 seconds and a budget. Your king stands in the middle of a 14 × 14 grid; everything you place protects him.

Five materials: wood is cheap and light, stone is the backbone, iron stops almost anything, rubber bounces shots back, gunpowder explodes — in your fort as well as theirs.

Presets drop a ready wall or tower in one tap. Mirror copies one side to the other. Undo takes the last block back.

  • Cover the king from above, not only from the front — mortars and hail fall from the sky.
  • Do not stack gunpowder next to the king: one fire shell and it goes up.
  • A low wide fort is harder to topple than a tall thin tower.

02Aim: angle, power and wind

Set the angle, hold FIRE to charge the shot and let go. The longer you hold, the further it flies.

The wind arrow at the top shows where shots drift. Heavy stones and rockets care less about it; plasma ignores it completely. In a storm the wind gusts mid-flight.

Turns mode lets you plan each shot. In real-time mode both cannons fire at once, and every reload counts.

  • Your first ball is a free test shot: watch where it lands and correct from there.
  • Aim at supports, not at the top of a tower.
  • Lob shots over walls with the mortar when the enemy hides behind a hill.

03Stars, coins and upgrades

Each level has three stars: win, win within the shot goal, and keep half of your own fortress standing.

Every enemy block you knock down pays coins. Winning pays more, and the first win on a level pays a bonus. A lost battle keeps half of what you earned.

Spend coins on upgrades: cannons and weapons go up to 10 stars. A daily reward waits every day — miss a day and the streak starts again.

  • Replay early levels for the third star when you are short of coins.
  • Upgrade the weapon you use most before buying a new cannon.

04Feats unlock new weapons

Sixteen special weapons are locked at first. Each one opens after a feat: win your first battle for the Sticky Bomb, set 60 blocks on fire for the Firebird, defeat two bosses for the Titan Bomb.

  • Check the Feats tab in the Arsenal: progress bars show how close you are.
